What's everybody buzzing about at the water cooler these days? Some are old, some are new, a husband or two is borrowed, and they all have clues.
1. 'The Walking Dead' (AMC)
I'll be the first to admit that when I heard that series about zombies was being made (based on the comic book series), I had absolutely no interest in tuning in -- boy was I wrong. The Walking Dead isn't just about zombies, it's about the human race surviving an apocalypse and how they must form a whole new civilization without the luxuries we have in this world. The downsi
de? AMC only makes 13 episodes a season -- we need many more episodes to feed the zombie within!

2. 'Mad Men' (AMC)
There's a reason Mad Men cleans up at the Emmys and Golden Globes each year -- it's one of the best written and performed dramas of our time.
I may not have grown up in the '60s, but this series does an amazing job at bringing that decade to life and allowing us to understand how things were back in those days.
Based on the bestselling fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire, by George R.R. Martin,Game of Thrones tells the tale of two families fighting for power of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Fans of the book series have flocked to this drama and will defend it against naysayers as valiantly as those brave souls who guard the Wall. Like the other contenders in this list, this series has the good fortune of brilliant writing combined with an equally compelling performance week after week and it's all people can talk about on Monday mornings.
5. 'Revenge' (ABC)
When her father is set up to take the fall for a heinous terrorist plot, a young girl's life is completely turned upside down. Years later, upon learning of her father's innocence, Amanda Clarke sets into motion a plan for the ultimate revenge against ALL who have ruined her life -- and she's taking no prisoners and no mercy. We know we're not supposed to like Amanda/Emily, but we just can't help it.
6. 'Once Upon a Time' (ABC)
It's got Snow White, Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin, Prince Charming and all those other legendary fairytale characters we've known all our lives and placed them in our world by the evil queen, along with back stories on all of them -- we are hooked and cannot wait to see when and how these characters will finally remember who they really are and what they will do with that knowledge. It's a fantastic mystery we love watching unfold each week.
7. 'The Vampire Diaries' (The CW)
It's got one of the most compelling love triangles on television and we can't seem to decide who we want Elena to wind up with on one of the CW's only successful seriesThe Vampire Diaries. Those who have read the books know where Elena is headed and those of us in the know cannot wait to see if TPTB will eventually follow this all-important storyline or continue to take liberties for the remainder of the series.
8. 'American Horror Story' (FX)
We all love a great mystery that involves trying to figure out who's dead and who's alive, but when you combine that with a spooky horror element, you have one of television's guiltiest pleasures. Each season brings us a new haunted venue, with some of the same actors (playing different roles) and a whole new mystery to solve.
9. 'True Blood' (HBO)
Over the last few years, vampires have been hotter than ever and HBO's True Bloodups the ante by presenting some of the most outrageous (and hottest) vampires we've ever seen on television. It's the coolest show on television and we're proud to be viewers.
Got a secret, can you keep it... ABC Family shows may be for that younger demographic, but millions of adults are completely hooked on Pretty Little Liars. Just when we thought the mystery of 'A' was finally solved, we learn that someone else is pulling the strings -- it's one of television's best mysteries and we kind of hope it never get solved
